Doubting the mainstream narrative is always healthy, but conspiracy theories usually go too far because they’re apparently dreamed up by the dumbest people able to read and write. The fact that every government on earth lies does not necessarily mean everything is a lie. Reality isn’t that black and white. Truth is often somewhere in the middle of a fog of lies where idiots like Jesse Ventura and monumental clowns like Alex Jones can’t see. If conspiracy theory can do one good thing it’s show the average person that they blindly trust their government and its agents of information, and that the important lies are not sensationalist, but subtle signals and modes of control affecting the decisions they make.
