7. Go God Go Part I & XII (Season 10, Episodes 12 & 13)
Cartman goes to the future and rides ostriches with otters, but would rather just play the damned Nintendo Wii, learning (or not) a bit about God, knowledge, and self in the process. These episodes are a testament to belief, and a case for the readiness to goof off shared by all who love life and good, hard work.
“And then one day a couple of fish had a retard baby, and the retard baby was different, so it got to live.” -Mrs. Garrison
“I thought we were friends. I guess I was wrong. After everything we’ve been through together, you guys won’t even help me freeze myself.” -Cartman
“No, I totally get it now, evolution explains everything. There is no great mystery to life, just evolution and God’s a spaghetti monster. Thank you, Richard!” -Mrs. Garrison
“I wasn’t talking about spaghetti.” -Stan
In Go God Go XII, Eric from the future finds out how frustrating it is to deal with himself. This episode neatly, if sarcastically, concludes the events from part 1, with Cartman as an overbearing, bratty Buck Rogers, inadvertently saving the world.
“Primitive? It has motion-control controllers you asswipe.” -Cartman
“Science damn you Timechild.” -Otter1
“Do me a favor. Next time I’m in a recessed biocave, don’t send me a Level 2 homing call.” -Cartman
“Six thousand credits?! What do I look like to you, a Thurilian miner?” -Cartman
